I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Waterloo Cottage in Barnard Castle, and I can't recommend it enough! the place was wonderfully spacious, complete with a comfy bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud-perfect for someone like me who treasures a good night's rest after exploring. the outdoor patio and garden were a real highlight; my pals and I spent the afternoons playing games, soaking up the sun, and letting our dog run free in the enclosed yard. the cottage is ideally situated, making it super easy to pop over to Bowes Museum or grab a bite in town. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. And while we were cut off from phone service, the free Wi-Fi kept us connected without a hitch! If you're looking for a cozy, home-like getaway, this charming spot is just the ticket.
